Inis Ceatra is delighted to partake in National Heritage Week 2026 from the 15th to 23rd August.

Celebrating Ireland's cultural, built and natural heritage, our 2026 Heritage Week programme will feature the renowned Clare artist Helen Lowe, who will be exhibiting her art, show live demonstrations and techniques.

Depictions of Ancient East Clare scenes as interpreted on canvas and cotton

Meet with renowned Clare artist Helen Lowe who will exhibit her art with particular reference to East Clare , Brian Boru and Iniscealtra.

She is deeply passionate about history and her work reflects her particular interest in capturing ancient scenes and sites. She will paint live and interact with visitors on site discussing her technique and sources of inspiration.

Demonstrations take place from 10:00am -2:00pm
