For a more immersive experience, you can build your own chocolate bar and watch as it is created in front of you. Enter the production area, watch as the chocolate is moulded and learn about the tempering process. McKernan Woollen Mills, Tuamgraney 

Sitting in the heart of Tuamgraney, just a 10 minute drive from Mountshannon, McKernan Woollen Mills is a family run textile studio and shop renowned for its handcrafted scarves. Founded in 1985 by Eugene and Anke McKernan, the mill blends traditional weaving techniques with contemporary design. Visitors can also experience the artistry first hand and enjoy a guided tour where you will have a peek into the workshop and learn how designs are brought from early concepts to hand-finished pieces. The onsite shop offers a vibrant selection of woven and knitted pieces from beautiful scarves and shawls to baby blankets, hats and wristwarmers.
